So Josi and I left the hotel to meet the them. Our guide came to our bus and we started our tour through chicago. Our first stop was the Chicago’s first skyscraper the Marquette building. Afterwards we went to the Millennium park and took pictures in front of the famous cloud gate, also known as “the bean”. On our way back to the bus we stopped at Dylan’s Candy Bar, a huge candy shop that sells lots of different american and also international candy. Next, we drove by bus through the different neighborhoods of Chicago. We quickly stopped at Obama’s house and also saw the house of Frederick C. Robie which was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. After our sightseeing tour we went to Navy Pier to eat lunch and go shopping. Afterwards we drove to Willis tower to go to the Sky deck. But it was a very busy day there and we were told the waiting time to go up could last two hours. That’s why our group split up so that the ones who wanted to wait could stay and the others could do something else. Josi and I decided to not wait and went with the others for a walk along the Chicago river to the Water Tower Place mall. We spend the evening shopping and tried on some prom dresses. After our long day in the city we returned to our hotel.
